Forgive me if I missed your actor and please bring it to my attention in the comments. Let me know if there are any questions.

Chorus Camp Girl Parents:

I know that I checked a bunch of you off the list for your bases on Saturday.  I am trying to remember who has what base to match them with the tutus and tunics and I am wishing I had thought to take pictures.  If you could take a picture of the base and and post it in the comments with your daughters name, or send it to me in messenger I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you!

Jitterbug Costume Base

I just want to make sure that all of the jitterbug trees know their base for this scene, since it plays a big part in the costume.  Girls are being provided leotards but you need to bring black bootcut yoga pants(not leggings).  Boys need a fitted long sleeved black T-shirt.  I have the pants for you.  Jitterbugs tree parents please comment on this post so I know that you have seen this.

*for all other characters, just a reminder that can find your base info on the costume list spreadsheet under the Files section of this FB page.

Costumes: I have a couple of costume notes here.  So read this entire post please.

1. Chorus Camp, if I missed checking your costume base today you can just send me a picture on messenger of your kids in their base, or just the base you have and kids name, and I will check them off my list.

2.  I spoke to a couple of mom’s on the first workday, who said their girls would bring their own black leotards.  I can’t remember who all told me this.  Would you remind me in the comments if this was you.

3.  A big thank you to the amazing parents who helped me out on costume today for work day!!!

Costume Volunteers

I need to finalize my list of volunteers for the week of the show.  I have created a page just for costume volunteers, so we don’t bog down this page with our posts.  I have already added some people.  I cannot add you if you are not already my FB friends, but you can search for our page.  It is Martin Musicals Costumes.  Just ask to join and I will approve it.  I have a list of everyone who volunteered.  If you didn’t originally volunteer for costumes but would like to help, message me and search for and join our page as well.  Most of the show week costume duties are helping kids with quick changes, making sure we don’t miss cues, helping keep costumes organized, and simple safety pinning. I need plenty of backstage help, you will only be asked to do one show night, but we will need you during our tech rehearsals.

Costumes

I am attaching a copy of the cast list that includes each students costume base and shoe requirements for the show.  Please use this document as a reference for your shoe and costume base questions.  Your child should already have their shoes.  If they don't please get them ASAP.  I do have a few new pairs of shoes left if you want to see if I have their size.  Chorus Camp info. is not on this document.  You can find chorus camp information on the link to our website.  Once again parents thank you for your help.  I will have lots of costume volunteer opportunities coming up.  Keep an eye on this page if you would like to help.

ATTN to all those who volunteered for hair and makeup this year

I would like to have a meeting on April 14, which is our second parent work day, to discuss all the particulars of what we will be doing for the show and sign up for who will be doing what.  To be backstage you will need to have your background check form turned in and be on my volunteer list so make sure you can make the meeting. If you are going to be at the school this Saturday for our first work day and have any questions don’t hesitate to find me and have a chat! Time is to be decided soon! Stay tuned!

COSTUMES - Monday Emergency Measure Day

This Monday, 3/19 is last call for ALL measurements. I have to have all measurements on Monday. If your child did not get measured Thursday, 3/15, I need their measurements Monday. I will be measuring 4 - 5:30 pm.

IMPORTANT: If your child is not in scenes 1 - 4 and called for rehearsal on Monday, they must be accompanied by an adult.

I will have help with the measurements and we will get them measured and release them to you as soon as possible. If you cannot have your child at the school accompanied by an adult on Monday, you can print off the forms and measure them yourself or have someone you know familiar with clothing measuring do it for you. Please read the instructions carefully, they are very particular. Please make sure you print the correct gender form (Not the gender of the role, the gender of the actor). Please use the Harris Costumes Form. They can be turned in either to me in the computer lab or in the Martin Musicals box at school on Monday morning. Thank you so much parents for helping us out with this!
